If you’ve never heard of Light The Mic, here’s the real: We’ve curated a creative community space rooted in joy, honesty, and cultural power.

This is not an open mic. We spotlight local artists of all mediums: rappers, poets, singers, comedians, musicians, dancers. Come ready to share what’s real, not just what’s rehearsed.

We believe in storytelling as resistance, Black joy as necessary, and art as community care.

It’s a room where:

  • The crowd shows love like family

  • First-timers get the same respect as veterans

  • Artists walk away with footage, community, and confidence

  • No clout-chasing. Just connection.

$10 at the door. Food, vibes, and a mic that holds whatever you’re brave enough to say.
